Full Screen

This option allows viewing a drawing in the full screen mode.

Quick Access Panel:

Ribbon: Viewer -> View -> Full screen or Advanced -> Window -> Windows position -> Full screen

Menu: View -> Full screen

Hotkey: F11 or Alt + Enter

 

In the full screen mode the working field of the program with the active drawing is expanded to fit the screen. The toolbars and floating panels are hidden. The mode is intended to view images and doesn't allow to select entities and edit them. You cam switch the mode on at any stage of work including the moment of creating an entity. In this case drawing will cease.

 

Operations available in Full Screen mode

You can perform some operations with the drawing using the options available in the pop-up menu (right mouse click):

Previous File in Directory (PageUp) opens the previous file in the current directory. Switching between files is performed in the folder where the opened file is located. If no file is opened the command isn't active.

Next File in Directory (PageDown) opens the next file in the current directory. Switching between files is performed in the folder where the opened file is located. If no file is opened the command isn't active.

Black Background changes the background color of the viewing area into black. The color of black entities is automatically turned into white.

Custom Background sets the background color of the viewing area according to the color selected with the help of the command Background color on the tab View. By default the background color is white. The color of the entities is black.

Print Preview (Ctrl+P) calls the dialog box Print Preview. The Full Screen mode is still on.

Display mode contains a list of display modes of 3D models of DWG and DXF files. When viewing the files of other formats the command isn't active. When switching from 2D Wireframe to another display mode, display is performed by means of OpenGL.

Camera style defines the projection of the image - orthogonal or prospective. By default Orthogonal style is used.

3D Views contains the list of standard orthogonal and isometric views. To set the view select it from the list with the left mouse click.

3D Orbit switches on/off the 3D Orbit axis which allows to rotate the drawing in the gnomon.

Show Layouts shows or hides the panel with additional sheets in the bottom part of the screen. Allows to add, delete and rename the sheets.

Exit (Esc) exits the full screen mode.
